Walberswick - Friday 13th March
Met up with Bri around 4pm, and set off to fish Walberswick. Decided on arrival that with a brisk wind coming off the sea to fish the river.

With Bri telling me that we will definately catch bass, we got started around 5pm, approx 2 hours before high water.

It was another slow session, following on from lasts weeks sesh at Cley

Bri was first away with a decent sized eel, but other than that nothing other than crabs was showing any interest in our baits. So I took a rod and tried the sea, without success.

Bri set up a float rig, and immediately got a good bite, and he almost fell over when he saw a flounder.............on a ragworm float!!

Anyway, Bri then tried the sea, so I had a play around with the float, not something I have a great deal of experience doing, but eventually, I caught the one and only bass of the evening, small, well undersize, but nonetheless a bass, meaning Bri had kept his word....we got a bass.

Other than a good sized crab, that was that!!

Boredom took over, a rubber worm was then chucked in a few times, before we decided around 8pm to call it a night!!
