The plan was to pick Bri up at 5pm then drive to Salthouse and meet up with Luggy at the iron road at 7pm. However, with both myself and Bri getting bored sat at home with nought to do, we changed the plan and I picked him up around 3.30pm.

The original idea was to fish Salthouse at the iron road, but once we arrived and saw the walk involved, that plan was soon ditched!! Bri got on the phone to Luggy and Cley got the heads up especially with the story that a 'big' fish was caught there earlier in the day, and that when it got dark, things should really start to get busy!

Anyway, long story told short!! It was slow, real slow, slow almost to a stop slow!!!

Nothing during the couple of hours daylight, and once it got dark, we managed 4 small basslets between us, the biggest went to 1lb on the nose. (We weighed it because it looked a lot bigger, but although it was a long fish, it didnt have too much meat on it!)

Met Luggy and his missus, Henry and Magman so we had a couple of highlights to the evening.

Oh well there is always next time Very Happy
